Overview
Nusa Penida is a breathtaking island located southeast of Bali, Indonesia. It is the largest of the three Nusa Islands, which also include Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan. Nusa Penida spans approximately 209 square kilometers, making it significantly larger than Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan. Due to its rugged topography, the island is less developed than Bali, with many roads being rough and unpaved. However, its untouched beauty and incredible landscapes make it one of the most sought-after travel destinations in Indonesia.
The west side of Nusa Penida is particularly famous for its dramatic coastal scenery, hidden beaches, and iconic viewpoints. This area is a must-visit for travelers seeking adventure, stunning photography spots, and a taste of unspoiled nature.
